AUBURN – Robert and Fernande Cyr of Auburn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 28 with a party at the VFW Hall. They were married June 6, 1958, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston.
The party was given by their four children and their spouses, Marc and Brenda Cyr, Daniel and Terri Cyr, David and Kathy Cyr and Lisa (Cyr) and David Coburn, and their nine grandchildren.
Their grandsons, Eric and Ryan Cyr, played guitars and sang “Blue Moon,” which is one of the couple’s favorite songs. Their granddaughter, Cameron Cyr, played a French song on the flute. They also enjoyed a slide show, which captured the memories of their lives together.
Family and friends attended from Washington, Florida, North Carolina, Connecticut and Maine.
