MEXICO – Region 9 Adult Education will run two new computer courses starting in January.

The first is an Excel Basics class that will cover creating spreadsheets, tracking information and building a budget page. Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays starting Jan. 19 for four weeks. The cost of the class is $45.

The second class is Word Basics. It will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays starting Jan. 22 for two weeks. The course will cover formatting a Word document, changing fonts, creating tables and adding pictures to the writing. The cost is $23.
