AUGUSTA – The Gerry Wright Trio will perform Friday, Jan. 16, as part of the Concerts at Jewett series put on by the University of Maine at Augusta.

Known statewide and beyond for his talents at the piano, Wright was an educator/choral director at Messalonskee High School for many years and oversaw one of the most respected choral programs in the state. He has been music director for the Waterviille Opera House and performs regularly with the Gerry Wright Trio and the Al Corey Big Band.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Jewett Hall Auditorium. Snow date is Jan. 23.
