LEWISTON – Women, Work and Community, a statewide non-profit organization, will offer a free, 6-week class, “Step to Economic Security,” followed by individual and group network meetings, that guides existing business owners to set personal and business financial goals, and develop a plan to achieve greater economic security.

Class size is limited to 15 and pre-registration is required. Those attending must bring a business plan and business activity/sales of 18 months or more.

The classes will be held at USM Lewiston/Auburn College, 51 Westminster St., on Wednesdays beginning Jan. 14 from 9 a.m.-noon., with following classes held Jan. 21 and 28, and then Feb. 4, 11 and 18, with Feb. 25 available if a snow day is needed.
