AUBURN – East Auburn Community School students and staff collected items for soldiers in Iraq to remind them they were not forgotten during the holidays. It has been a tradition for the past few years.

The Washburn School is collecting items to send to Iraq on Valentine’s Day. Students are also planning to make Valentine cards to be sent to Togus and Iraq.

Edward Little High School shipped articles to Iraq in April. Assistant Principal Steve Galway was in charge of the shipment sent by American Legion Post 153. Also involved was Post 153 member Raymond Lemieux, District 3 American Legion commander.
