AUBURN – The Auburn Youth Hockey Girls’ 14U Tier 3 team picked up its first win of the season, 3-1, over Western Maine.

Auburn jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. Mariah Mosher scored with an assist to Sadie Royer at the 4:29 mark. Holly Gallup connected at 10:12 with help from Danica Nadeau.

Western Maine pulled within a goal at 4:37 of the third on Kayleigh Lepage’s goal with an assist to Rachel Kellough. Mosher provided insurance for Auburn at 6:19, Brittany Cloutier assisting.

Shaylin Collins picked up the win in goal for Auburn (1-2-1).

Michaela Rullo was Western Maine’s netminder.
