LEWISTON – Lewiston High School leads the southern conference of the Maine High School Bowling League with a stellar record of 53 1/2 wins and 3 1/2 losses through Jan. 9.

The Blue Devils routed Winslow, 18-1, on their home alleys over the weekend. Lewiston swept the categories of high team game with 941, high team series with 2,047 and high baker game with 175.

Josh Roy of Lewiston posted the high individual game with a 248, while Stephan Babb of Cony registered the high two-game series of 445.

Messalonskee defeated Lawrence, 16-3, and Cony toppled Waterville, 17-2, in other league action.

Lewiston’s Katy Bouchard leads the league with a 219 average to date. Andrew Sawyer and Tim Leeman both sit in the top five with averages of 192.67 after competing in all three meets. Other LHS standouts on the season are Cam Marcotte (186.17), Josh Roy (183) and Josh Romanov (127).
