Attempted burglary

On Jan. 14 at 9:56 p.m., Dunton Street resident reported someone pounding on her door attempting to get into her residence. Officers arrived and discovered it was the neighbors’ dog.

Theft

On Jan. 12 at 9:50 a.m., Franklin Street business reported $250 stolen. Incident under investigation.

On Jan.13 at 11:57 a.m., Waldo Street resident reported $2-$3 worth of pennies stolen. Incident under investigation.

On Jan. 14 at 4:42 p.m., Waldo Street resident reported a theft of a lawn mower. Incident under investigation.

On Jan. 17 at 8:21 p.m., Waldo Street resident reported the theft of her vehicle from a business on Route 108. Vehicle was found crashed on Route 142 in Dixfield. Incident under investigation.
