MECHANIC FALLS – Marianne Gallo of Mechanic Falls and Anthony Vono of Lynbrook, N.Y., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dawn Marie Vono of Mechanic Falls, to David James Barton of Mechanic Falls, son of Jeffrey and Susan Barton of Albany Township.

Miss Vono is a 2004 graduate of the Mechanic Falls/Poland adult education program.

Mr. Barton is a 2003 graduate of Telstar Regional High School in Bethel.

The wedding will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 at Grace Fellowship Church in Oxford, with a reception to follow at the Silver Spur in Mechanic Falls. They will be escorted by the Mechanic Falls Fire Department.
