AUBURN – Lynn Girouard erupted for 21 points, sparking J.C. Concrete to a 57-37 victory over Hoop Camp in Auburn Parks and Recreation women’s slowdown basketball.
Krista Wotherspoon and Penny Webster each added 10 points for Concrete. Katie Morin collected 20 points for Hoop Camp. Kristie Norcross chipped in nine and Karrie Watson had six.
Cathy Marston led a balanced attack with 17 points to give 4-Rochie a 54-31 triumph over Laskoff Bashers. Katie Lutts added 16 and Deb Draper 11 to the ferocious winning effort. Cheyenne Mercier mustered eight points for Bashers, with Ashley Golden and Shannon True turning in seven apiece.
Old School nipped Young Ones, 41-39, behind a dozen points from Nicole Sautter. Betsy Sibley notched nine and Liza Barker dropped in six. Pauline Veinote led all scorers with 13 points for Young.
Erin Demars delivered seven and Elaine Keene chalked up six.
