The holiday season is coming around the corner very fast and even before we know it, we’ll be tearing open brightly colored presents, from under the Christmas tree. But, for many people, having trouble with depression can really ruin someone’s holiday season. So I’m going to be telling everyone about a healthy way to boost your spirit, without using some of those harmful anti-depressant medicines that have a long list of side effects.
Laughter is very contagious, once one person starts laughing it just keeps going around. It helps you burn calories, strengthens your immune system, helps you recover from illness, and makes you happy when you’re sad. Laughing is just one way to help your life be healthy and happy. So why live a life without it?
Just by laughing a little can help you fight diseases. It also relaxes you so once you’re relaxed you can reduce some different problems like high blood pressure, strokes, arthritis, and ulcers. It reduces your risk of heart disease which is a common disease. It helps with anger, depression, anxiety, and stress, of the holiday season, with so many things going on. Parents are running around trying to find the perfect gift for their loved ones.
A good natural laugh can help you in just so many ways and many people just don’t even know about it. Laughing can help reduce stress, lower blood sugar, elevate your mood, boost your immune system, improve your brain function, protect your heart, connect you to others, foster instant relaxation, and just make you feel good, just by one simple laugh. So you can’t risk not laughing.
So always remember a good laugh can help you in just so many ways, so laugh whenever you are depressed, sick, stressed or have arthritis. Just flick on your TV to any funny Christmas movie to get you in the mood. If you’re depressed, don’t try all these different medicines that don’t work for you, just LAUGH! It might be as simple as that!
