The River Valley Technology Center, the River Valley Growth Council and the River Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to present another great Business Lunch and Learn opportunity. This month’s topic is “The Basics of E-Commerce.”

The seminar will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday,

February 18, 2009
at the River Valley Technology Center on 60 Lowell Street, Rumford, Maine. The cost is $10 and includes your lunch. River Valley Chamber of Commerce members pay only $8. Pre-payment is required; there will be no refunds issued. Pre-registration is required by calling Lorraine at 207-369-0396 or e-mail lorraine@rvgc.org by February 13.

Participants will learn the basics of e-commerce: how Web sites and search engines work, how to register a domain name, and how a Web site can enhance the overall business model. Participants will also learn about easy to use Web site templates and where to go for more assistance.
