TAUNTON, Mass. – Pauline Poulin of Taunton and formerly of Middleboro, Mass., and Lewiston, died Friday, Feb. 6, at her residence, after a lengthy illness.

She was born 55 years ago in Lewiston, the daughter of Irene (Bissonnette) Poulin and the late Ronald Poulin. She was educated in Middleboro, Mass., and had been a Taunton resident for the past 10 years.

Prior to her illness, she had been employed as a secretary for General Fire Extinguishers of Taunton for 12 years. She had previously been employed at the former Lindy’s Woman in Taunton for nine years. She had formerly been employed as a manager for Brooks Drug stores for a number of years, having worked at several stores in the area. After high school, she was employed as a sales clerk at the Sears, Roebuck Department Store in Brockton.

She was an animal lover, especially cats and enjoyed spending time with her family. She had attended Sacred Heart Church in Middleboro.

In addition to her mother of Taunton, she leaves one brother, Donald Poulin and his wife, Terry, of Lewiston; two nephews, Donald Poulin II and his wife, Melinda, of Gorham and Steven Poulin of Augusta; one grandnephew, Garrett Poulin of Gorham; her longtime friend, Eugene LeClair of Taunton; as well as several cousins in Maine.
