The all-new 2009 Dodge Journey redefines the expanding midsize crossover segment, offering seating versatility, safety and security, and cargo flexibility.

Dodge Journey combines the versatility of a larger sport-utility vehicle with the efficiency of a passenger car. Journey is equipped with the latest technology with available electronic all-wheel drive, six-speed transmission with Auto Stick, two efficient powertrains, uconnect gps with navigation, 30-gigabyte hard drive and real-time traffic monitoring, ParkView Rear Back-up Camera, uconnect phone system that is Bluetooth compatible, a Universal Customer Interface (UCI) for iPod connectivity, rear DVD entertainment with two wireless headphones and available uconnect studios SIRIUS Backseat TV.

Dodge Journey’s unique seating is the available 5+2-passenger seating system, plus two integrated child booster seats that pull out from the second-row seat cushion, eliminating the need to transport bulky child seats.

The standard engine on the Journey SE is the 2.4-liter four-cylinder mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. It delivers 173 horsepower and 166 lb.-ft. of torque.

The Journey SXT and R/T come with the 3.5-liter V-6 coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. These trims are offered in front- and all-wheel drive. The high-output engine produces 235 hp and 232 lb.-ft. of torque.
