WEST PARIS – Eglantine V. “Bea” Dulac, 88, formerly of Oxford Street, Lewiston, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Ledgeview Living Center with family at her side.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 18, 1920, a daughter of Edmond and Eva (Boulay) Drouin. She was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of the community.

In 1939, she married Lawrence Dulac who predeceased her on May 11, 1964.

As Bea and Larry began to raise their two daughters, she also worked in local textile mills until her retirement from the Continental Mill.

She was a longtime member of the former St. Mary’s Church and for a time had attended the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul before moving to West Paris to be closer to her daughter.

Bea was also a member of the Pastime Club and the 20M club. Among her very favorite enjoyments were the many special family times shared together, especially the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. She was a loving, devoted and hard-working wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed.

She leaves a daughter, Lucille Niemi and husband, Ray, of West Paris; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine Sebra; a granddaughter, Lisa Bouchard; and five brothers.
