FARMINGTON – The Fairbanks School Meeting House, in conjunction with Adult Basic Education and AVCOG, is offering the second of three startup classes.
Marketing Basics takes place 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Meeting House, 508 Fairbanks Road. The cost is $25, including lunch.
The class will cover the fundamental principles of marketing, marketing research, effective advertising strategies and comprehension of the target market. Rose Creps of Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments will give an interactive presentation in the morning, helping participants to look at this information in light of their own business plans.
After lunch, time will be available to work on individual marketing plans and ask questions of Creps and community mentor Mike Mansir of Franklin Savings Bank.
