CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Unitil says it realizes the way it responded when customers lost power in December’s ice storm also caused them to lose trust in the company.

The company has released a summary of its review of power restoration after the massive storm knocked out power to thousands of its customers in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

The company said it realizes its communication procedures and information led to frustration and, in some cases, a loss of trust.

The company said it anticipates changes in storm readiness, storm preparations and restoration, public communications and customer communications.
