FARMINGTON – Louise May Wing Vaughn, 73, died Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Sandy River Center for Health Care. She resided at the Rumford Community Home, Rumford.

She was born in Dixfield, on Feb. 2, 1936, a daughter of the late Archie and Rose Anna (Richard) Wing. She was a graduate of Dixfield High School, Class of 1955. She loved to play bingo, do crafts and spend time with her family and friends.

She was married in Rumford on May 12, 1956, to LaForrest A. “Buddy” Vaughn, who died in Rumford on June 1, 2006.

Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Brown and husband, Robert, of Lakeland, Fla., Marie Richard and husband, Larry, of Rumford and Ericka Ducas and husband, Jason, of Bridgton; a son, Allen Vaughn and wife, Joy, of Mexico; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four brothers, Buster Wing and wife, Jessie, of Dixfield, George Wing Sr. of West Peru, Archie Wing and wife, Charlene, of West Peru and Alton Wing of Canton; and a sister, Florence Porter and husband, Frank, of Dixfield.

She was predeceased by her husband, Buddy Vaughn; two sons, Bruce and David; granddaughter, August; and three sisters, Margaret, Ruth and Barbara.
