MONMOUTH – Funeral services were held Wednesday at Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home for Alice Maria House. The Rev. Jacquelyn Brannen officiated at the service. Three poems that were very dear to Alice were read by the Rev. Jackie, “A Valentine Verse,” “The Rose Still Grows beyond the Wall” and “In Thankfulness.” A dear family friend, Rena-Marie Michaud read a letter that she had written to Alice, after she had passed. Special memories were shared by Alice’s good friend, Launa Greenier. Her step-daughter, Janet House Richards, also shared her special memories of Mom Alice. Music played was “Tears in Heaven,” “In the Garden” and “You Raised me Up.” A light luncheon was held at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Glenside Cemetery, Winthrop, in the spring.
