ETNA (AP) – Investigators from the state fire marshal’s office have concluded that a March 8 fire that destroyed a vacant home in Etna was deliberately set.
The early morning blaze was one of two this month at buildings owned by Wes Leighton of Holden. The second fire occurred Monday at a building across the street from the Etna fire station.
Sgt. Tim York of the fire marshal’s office said the damage was so extensive that investigators were unable to determine what caused that fire.
The building formerly housed an auto repair shop and a store. It was being used for storage.
