NORWAY – Nancy G. Orre, 85, of South Paris, died Friday, March 20, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Norway on Oct. 15, 1923, the daughter of Elgin and Ruth Noble Greenleaf. She graduated from Norway High School in 1941, and the Forsythe Dental School.

She had been employed as a dental hygienist for Dr. Greenleaf in Norway and Dr. Trinward in Bethel. She enjoyed reading, gardening and was a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of the Barton Reading Club. She married Robert Orre on June 16, 1968. He passed away on Aug. 4, 2007.

She is survived by a son, Michael Hatch of South Paris; two daughters, Judith Patten of Gloucester, Va., and Katherine Hatch of Hebron; a foster brother, Kenneth Locke of Bow, N.H.; two grandchildren, Robert E. Hatch of Apollo Beach, Fla., and Rebecca Visner of Gloucester, Va.; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary Webb and Nathan Webb.
