Hallah Hurley, 7, of Auburn enjoys the fruits of her labor, a dish of chocolate ice cream with cherries on top during an ice cream party Wednesday at the Lewiston-Auburn Boys and Girls Club. Youngsters were treated to the ice cream party as a reward for points earned in the after-school homework program. The club offers a learning center where students can participate in a daily half-hour homework program.
