AUBURN – Priscille Anne Poulin, 92, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, with her two daughters by her side, at the Clover Health Care Facility after a long battle with Alzheimer’s; a disease that robbed her of her precious memories.

She was born in Auburn, July 13 1916, the daughter of Martial Lavoie and Obelina Paquette.

She belonged to the first graduating class of Holy Cross School. She was a communicant at Holy Cross, where she belonged to the Ladies of St. Anne. She worked in local mills and shoe shops until her retirement.

On Nov. 14, 1942, she married her “Petit Roland,” Roland Poulin, who died in June 2000. She was a beautiful, devoted, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. One of her greatest joys was baking cookies and making fudge for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Claudette Therriault and her husband, Richard, of Sabattus and Constance Martel and her husband, Roger, of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Rachel Keene and her husband, Vernon, of Litchfield, Steven Therriault of Sabattus, Daniel Therriault and his wife, Katherine, of Spartanburg, S.C., Michael Martel and his wife, Jennifer, of Auburn and Nicholas Martel of San Diego, Calif.; eight great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Reuben Keene, Samantha Therriault, Elizabeth and Graham Therriault, and Kora, Joseph and Jack Martel; one brother, the Rev. Rene Lavoie of Kennebunk; and a sister-in-law, Marguerite Lavoie of Brunswick.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roland; a brother, Roger Lavoie; and a sister, Rita Cloutier.

Our heartfelt thanks to Rose, Dr. Hatten, and the wonderful staff who cared for our Mom in her eight years at Clover.
