Ann Allison of New Sharon accepts applause from her “Smooth Operators” teammates after nabbing a strike during the Big Brothers/Big Sisters’ Bowling for Kid’s Sake fundraiser at Sparetime Recreation Saturday. “It’s my good-luck thing,” Allison said of the mouse ears she purchased at Disney World a few years ago. “I guess it worked!” Allison bowled a 142 and the organization is expecting to raise between $35,00 and $40,000 over Saturday and Sunday.
