LEWISTON – Terror, horror and outright hilarity all combine into a fast-paced show to be presented by Lewiston High School’s drama club Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 2-4.

“Egad! The Woman in White” revolves around Sir Percival (played by Ryan Dubois), a villain who conjures up an evil plan with the help of Countess Fosco (Rebecca Spilecki) to become wealthy. He schemes to marry the rich, beloved Laura Fairlee (Anna Smedley), convince the world that she has died and hide her in an insane asylum.

Plagued by poverty, Sir Percival is haunted by Lawyer Gilmore (David Carvelho), a man determined to make Percival pay his bills. Percival must also deal with the disapproval of charming Marian (Susannah Wong) and the recent arrival of a face from the past, Mrs. Catherick (Amanda Martin).

As the story unfolds, plot twists provide a solid storyline played out with the help of other cast members, including Brittany Martin as Percival’s inept housekeeper Dora; Nate Chaloux as Uncle Frederick; Justin Fortier as Walter, a drawing master who falls in love with Laura; and Melissa Brimingion as Miss Peach, a not-so-peachy asylum attendant.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. at Lewiston Middle School Auditorium. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.
