LEWISTON – The Lewiston High School CommUnity Action Team will sponsor a 3K Diversity Peace Walk on Saturday, April 11.

The walk’s goal is to bring together the city’s different heritages and cultures and celebrate their differences. All are welcome to participate. Participants should meet at the Lewiston High School track at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The CommUnity Action Team, part of the Unity Project, is a collaborative effort between the Center for the Prevention of Hate Violence in Portland, Bates College, and students from Lewiston High School.
