AUBURN – Mechanics Savings Bank has recently promoted Stacie Brown to vice president/operations manager at its Auburn branch, 100 Minot Ave. She is responsible for loan and deposit operations.

Since joining Mechanics Savings Bank in September 2000, Brown has held been a teller, worked in loan operations, supervised loan operations, and, most recently, worked as assistant vice president.

She is a graduate of the Auburn Lewiston Leadership Institute and holds an associate degree in business administration and a degree in travel and tourism. In addition, she has earned her CFT supervisor and advanced supervisor certificates, and is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking.

Brown lives in Auburn with her husband.
