AUBURN – Weatherization Wizards, a Maine-based weatherization company, recently leased a 4,000 square foot building on Minot Avenue in Auburn. The company is currently located in Clinton and will move into the new space in April. Tom Dunham of NAI The Dunham Group brokered the lease.

The new location will give the company higher visibility and allow easier access to all corners of its service area, which spans from Kittery to Bangor and across the state from the coast to the New Hampshire border.

Weatherization Wizards is a certified contractor through Maine Housing’s Weatherization Assistance Program. The program is geared toward updating Maine’s aging housing stock and easing the burden of energy costs on lower-income families.

The Maine State Housing Authority, along with other public housing assistance programs across the state, is slated to receive funding over the next three years as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Weatherization Wizards serves both residential and commercial clients. The company shares space with NBBR Construction and CMCS Inc., a construction consulting company.
