The circus is coming to town. Wild animals who should be roaming free in open habitats are captive. They are forced to do things that humans want them to do but that are not related to their natural environment.
I wrote to all the places that are going to honor this circus to express my views on this. Some of these animals, especially the elephant, are often trained in abusive ways in circuses with bullhooks and beaten some other way until they submit to the ways of the people.
This is not right.
The tigers, lions and elephants are are social animals with families of their own. They should be kept in the wild.
