JAY – Jay Elementary School registration for pre-kindergarten is being taken through May 1.

Parents may register their children between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. A child must be age 4 on or before Oct. 15 for pre-kindergarten. It is necessary to have the child’s original birth certificate and current immunization record at the time of registration.

A certified copy of a child’s birth certificate can be picked up at the town office where the child was born or in the town where parents were residing at the time of the birth.

Cost in Jay is $10 for the first copy and $5 for each additional copy.

Anyone who has a pre-kindergarten age student residing in Jay must register at for the fall.
