PORTLAND – Nancy L. Bennett Mingo, 66, of Portland died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, April 14.
She was born in Norway, on Nov. 24, 1942, the daughter of John and Mary Gertrude Bennett. She attended schools in Canton and Wilton, then worked for several years at Livermore Shoe Shop.
Later, she became a certified nursing assistant. She worked as a dedicated caregiver at the Victorian Villa Boarding Home for many years. She was the proud mother of five children and grandmother of three.
She enjoyed having all of her children and grandchildren home at once most of all. She will be sorely missed by her friends and family. She also greatly enjoyed watching the Red Sox play.
