DENMARK – Fire crews from several towns were battling a blaze in the middle of Denmark on Friday night after woods went up and flames and two sets of buildings caught fire.
A fire dispatcher said the blaze was concentrated near Ledgers Lane, in the area where the town golf course used to be located. By 7 p.m., a full crew from Denmark was joined by others from nearby towns. They were still fighting flames hours later.
There were no reports of injuries. The dispatcher said the buildings that caught fire were older summer homes.
