Teen scene

LISBON – The Lisbon Library invites its patrons to attend the grand opening of the “Teen Scene,” a section of the library devoted to teenagers and their favorite books.

Grand opening hours are between 2 and 5 p.m. Friday, April 24. Patrons can check out the new books, enter a drawing for a gift certificate, have a snack and read to Spencer the Sheltie.

Camp activity

AUBURN – Modern Woodmen announces a luncheon for Senior Camp 18087 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Tin Tin Buffet, 120 Center St.

Cost is $4 for ages 11 and up and $2 for 10 and under. Tickets must be picked up at Modern Woodmen, 67 Minot Ave. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Call 783-8804 or 1-800-561-8506 for more information.

CMA meeting

MECHANIC FALLS – The Down East Country Music Association will hold the annual meeting and election of officers at noon, Sunday, May 3, at the Silver Spur, Route 121. For more information, call Jackie at 793-8884.

Preschool program

WALES – Applications are available for the Lil Raiders’ Preschool Program at Oak Hill High School.

The program is for 3- to 5-year-olds and allows high school students to work with preschool children in a variety of activities. The program runs from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 4 to Thursday, May 28.
