Grange meeting
LIVERMORE – New Norlands Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 25, for the first meeting at the hall this spring. A green program will be presented by the lecturer. She is asking all attending to tell what they are doing green. Refreshments will be served.
Spring fling
JAY – A Spring Fling Dance will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, April 25, at Jay VFW Post 3335, Route 133. The $10 cost includes a food buffet and dancing to Alibi. Doors will open at 7 p.m. It is for members and guests. For more information, call 897-5112, 897-2457 or 897-4018.

WILTON – There will be a spring public supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, corner of High and School streets. The public is invited.
Book sale
FARMINGTON – The annual used book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 2, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at the Farmington Elks Lodge, 120 School St.

Rummage sale
LIVERMORE FALLS – A rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 25, at the First Baptist Church. Proceeds will benefit American Baptist Women.
Spring sale
RANGELEY – The Episcopal Church Women of Good Shepherd, Main Street, will host a two-day spring rummage sale from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 8, and 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9.
The regular Saturday Thrift Shoppe hours will change for the summer as follows: 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting May 12.
Jehovah assembly
AUGUSTA – Approximately 1,900 Jehovah’s Witnesses from Central Maine will gather for the annual Special Assembly Day on Sunday, April 26, at the Civic Center.
The visiting speaker will be Randall Turcot from the Patterson, N.Y., Educational Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He will speak on “How We Recommend Ourselves as Ministers” and “Highly Esteem Your Ministry.” A local speakers will be Michael Smallwood of Waterville. The subject of his talk will be “Baptized in the Name of the Holy Spirit.”
The public is invited. Admission is free and no collections will be taken.
