NORWAY – To encourage new members and welcome new perspectives, the Commons Art Collective will offer a show in May called “Who Knows One?”
Collective members who “know one” have invited a local artist to include work in a collective exhibit.
An opening reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 1, in the Fare Share Commons, 445 Main St.
A dozen invited artists offer a wide range of media, ages, and experience. They include Emmy Anderson, painting; Jennifer Barrons, performance and fiber arts; Rei Cortez, photography; Scott Currie, ceramics; Emma DayBranch, painting; Ruby DayBranch, photography; Irina Kahn, painting; Molly King, painting; Bill Koch, twig wood creations; Janet Montgomery, painting; Heather Piazza, painting; and Bob Runes, wood carving, jewelry and photography.
“Who Knows One?” will run through May 29. The gallery is open during Fare Share business hours: from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.Thursday and Friday. For more information, call 743-9579 or go to www.faresharecoop.org/cac.
