NAPLES – The Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce is hosting a celebration for local businesses from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Lakes Region High School, Route 302. The event is free and open to the public.

The celebration Lakes Region Showcase will include meet-and-greet with local business owners, an American Red Cross blood drive, a Shred-A-Thon for visitors to destroy old documents, the Showcase Spring Market, and activities for youth, including an art show. Children may also attend the Touch My Truck events, a showcase that will include trucks from Drew Excavating, QTeam and P&K Sand and Gravel. Fire engines will also be on display.

The First Lakes Region B&B Cookie Contest, sponsored by SADs 61 and 72 Adult and Community Education, will hold a best cookie contest with the Cookie Monster and Friends there to help.

There will be door prizes, raffle prizes and many giveaways.
