FARMINGTON – Tommy arrived at the Franklin County Animal Shelter almost a year ago as a stray. Staff said he is an extremely friendly cat that has waited patiently for his forever home.
Tommy loves to play with toy mice, jingley balls and dust bunnies. He is a happy-go-lucky cat and would do well in most households.
Staff said anyone wondering why Tommy has been at the shelter so long might want to look around at the other cats. Eight cats have been at the shelter for almost a year or longer. Some may not be as outgoing as others, but they still have lots of love and affection to give.
Because Tommy and his friends have been at the shelter for so long, they are free for adoption. For more information, call 778-2638.
New dogs at the shelter include a male spaniel from Strong.
