FARMINGTON – The University of Maine at Farmington is hosting its annual UMF Education Job Fair, Maine’s only career fair designed specifically for prospective educators. This event is free and open to all UMF graduating seniors and UMF alumni, as well as any certified teacher candidates from the public. It will be held from 1-4 p.m., April 28, in the north dining halls in UMF’s Olsen Student Center.
Sponsored by the University’s Center for Human Development, this career fair offers job seekers the opportunity to learn about educational job openings in and outside the state of Maine, network with professionals in the field, and understand employers’ resume and interview expectations.
Advanced registration for the fair is highly encouraged and will enable participants to receive updated event information. For more information, contact Judy Burdick, UMF Center for Human Development at 778-7034, or by e-mail at: judy.burdick@maine.edu.
