WESTBROOK, Maine (AP) — A Westbrook couple have been found dead in their apartment.

State and Westbrook police say the bodies of the two victims, both in their mid 40s, were found Tuesday afternoon in the apartment on Juniper Lane.

Names of the two were not immediately released.

Steve McCausland of the Maine Public Safety Department said personnel from the state medical examiner’s office are en route to the scene to assist in the investigation and help determine how the couple died.
