AUBURN – Lena M. Boston, 93, a resident of Auburn, died peacefully Tuesday, April 28, with her family by her side, at the Bolster Heights Health Care Facility, after a brief illness.

She was born in Milford, July 6, 1915, the daughter of Harry and Annie (Fraser) Dalton. She was a longtime member of Court Street Baptist Church, the Young at Heart Club of Court Street Baptist Church as well as the Salvation Army Auxiliary.

She was employed for several years as a ward secretary at the former Central Maine General Hospital and also for many years was an independent beauty consultant for Avon Cosmetics.

Survivors include one son, Larry and his wife, Evelyn, of Waterville; three daughters, Constance Burnham and husband, Arthur, of Lake City, Fla., Sharon Hatch and husband, Joe, of Norway and Janis Brackenbury and husband, Bradford, of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, R. Jane Weinberger of Bar Harbor and Virginia Garceau of Old Town; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Chester E. Boston, March 24, 1995.
