After reading Rebecca Robichaud’s letter (April 27) regarding same-sex marriage, sin and Christian judgment, I am led to correct a few things here. God’s word, known as the Bible, specifically indicates same-sex activity to be “vile affections.” For those who are not afraid of the truth, read Romans 1:24-27.
Bible-believing Christians are not judging. We believe and apply the Bible’s teachings to our lives and cannot just go along with the sinful activity around us. The world is indeed changing, as Robichaud states, but people should look around. Is it for the better?
We all have the right to make individual choices, but we also shouldn’t just go with the flow when something that totally goes against God’s word, such as same-sex marriage, surfaces.
Let’s follow God’s rule.
