LEWISTON – The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly Brown Bag Roundtable Discussion for members from noon to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St.

The topic will be Investing in Challenging Times by Salvatore Bonetti of Morgan Stanley.

He will cover three points: Why the most common asset allocation method loses a lot of money in turbulent markets; holding the same basic portfolio choices too long will cause much longer recovery time; and how an asset allocation defined by the Securities Exchange Commission has proven to be four times more stable.

Bonetti has more than 20 years of business ownership and people development experience. He earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from the University of Southern Maine in 1985.

He is a registered investment adviser and has earned the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation. Bonetti has also completed the Certified Financial Planner course work and has licenses for life and long-term care insurance.

There is on charge for the seminar, however, those interested in attending are asked to register on the Chamber Web site at www.androscoggincounty.com, or place a courtesy call to the chamber at 783-2249, or an e-mail to sschell@androscoggincounty.com to reserve a space.
