LISBON – Carl Frederick Michelson, 65, of Lisbon, died at his home on May 2.

He was born in Presque Isle, March 11, 1944, a son of the late Rudolph F. and Charlotte P. Davis. He was educated in Maynard, Mass., schools and graduated from Maynard High School, Class of 1962.

He served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft mechanic during the Vietnam Conflict and worked at Bath Iron Works for 18 years as an outside machinist (09) prior to his retirement. He enjoyed his cat, Shadow, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, cars, a cold beer and a smoke.

He is survived and sadly missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Lois E. and John Wilson of Auburn; a daughter, Jennifer E. Michelson Mitchell; nephews, John S., Christopher J. and Brian M. Wilson; and special friends, Matt and Ann Marie.

He was predeceased by his dad, Rudolph, in 1973; and his loving mother, Charlotte, in 2004.
