AUBURN – The Fireside Inn & Suites in Auburn announces that Theresa Hyatt has joined the staff as chef. Hyatt, a chef and certified executive pastry chef, will manage Danny Boy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, as well as the inn’s banquet facilities. She is a graduate of Johnson and Wales Culinary School of Providence, R.I.

Her culinary experience ranges from five-star restaurants and upscale supermarkets to bakery-cafes and seafood shacks on the coast. She received her Executive Pastry Chef certification from the American Culinary Federation.

She will be updating the inn’s banquet menus, offering items from rack of lamb to cook-outs, wedding cakes, and a refrigerated case in the lobby with both pastries and entrees to-go. All dishes are prepared on the premises.

Hyatt will be offering new menus four times a year, each changing with the seasons. Danny Boy’s is open Monday through Saturday evenings, serving an eclectic menu of local favorites.
