OXFORD – A 4-H Driving Fun Day at Oxford County Fairgrounds, off Route 26, will get under way at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 17. Registration will be held at 8:30 a.m.
The Maine Pony Teamsters have agreed to work with local 4-H clubs and other youths or adults who wants to learn safety.
The grounds will be open to learning and question-and-answer sessions, with several clinics going on at once. All participants will be able to ride the carts or wagons and, with the guidance and supervision of an instructor, hold the lines and drive.
There will be wagon rides for spectators, and food will be available on the grounds. A lunch break will be held around noon.
Anyone wishing to attend classes or clinics should register at 8:30 a.m.
