Four holes-in-one highlighted recent local golf action. Sandy River Golf Club of Farmington Falls played host to a pair. Jello Ouellette of Jay aced the 152-yard No. 3 with a 7-wood. Shirley Ouellette witnessed the feat. Michael Camacho of Farmington recorded his gem on the 105-yard first hole. Camacho used a 9-iron. Chris Campbell and Chris Puffer looked on.

Shirley Huff of Norway Country Club had a hole-in-one on the 17th hole during the WMSGA tournament at Nonesuch River In Scarborough on May 19. Witnesses were Wendy Bean, Rachel Newman, and Jan Searle.

Lastly, Trey Sasser celebrated the holiday weekend with an ace Saturday on the 150-yard No. 6 at Poland Spring. Sasser used a 7-iron while his father, Earl, caught a glimpse.
