RUMFORD – Lorraine C. Touchette, 70, of Roxbury, died Monday, May 25, at the Rumford Hospital.

She was born in Roxbury on Dec. 31, 1938, the daughter of Alphonso and Valeda (Thibodeau) Hodgkins. She graduated from Mexico High School, and was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St John Church, Rumford.

She was married in Dixfield on Jan. 27, 1957, to Andrew James Touchette, who survives of Roxbury.

Other survivors include daughters, Rosalie Farrington and husband, Robert, of Rumford and Cindy Touchette of Mexico; sons, Barry and companion, Donna, of Rumford, Richard and companion, Bobbi Jo, of Dixfield, Mark of Roxbury and Andrew Touchette Jr. and wife, Cindy, of Dixfield; many grandchildren; sisters, Irene Leighton of Rumford, Rose Marston of Roxbury, Annette Perry and husband, Ernest, of Tucson, Ariz, Leona White of Rumford and Phyllis Harlow and husband, Thomas, of Roxbury; brothers, Ronnie, Gibby and Bobby and wife, Hazel, of Roxbury and Gary Hodgkins and wife, Gay, of Jackman.

She was predeceased by brothers, Albert, Roger and Alphonso “Fonso” Hodgkins; and sister, Arlene Baldwin.
