WESTBROOK (AP) – Police in Westbrook, Maine, say they used Taser guns to subdue a man who ordered his dog to attack them.

It happened as police were investigating a brawl early Saturday morning. They say 28-year-old Christopher Dunaway refused to surrender and then ordered his Pit Bull to attack.

WMTW-TV says officers used Taser guns to shock both Dunaway and the dog. Dunaway was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal threatening and refusing to submit to arrest. Police also expect to charge him with keeping a dangerous dog.
