AUBURN – Marcienne G. Pelletier, 94, formerly of 40 Scribner Blvd., Lewiston, passed away peacefully at Clover Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 3, with her family by her side.

Born in Lewiston, Aug. 12, 1914, she was the daughter of Alfred and Georgiana Therrien Laroche. She attended local schools.

On Feb. 16, 1935, she married Armand Nelson Pelletier. He died on Jan. 9, 1990. She was a homemaker and after her family was grown, she worked at B. Peck and Co., until its closing.

She was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan. She enjoyed playing pinochle with her family.

She leaves two daughters, Anita (Dionne) Dumais of Sabattus and Pauline (Boilard) Libby of Monmouth; two sons, Donald (Joe) Pelletier and his wife, Joyce, of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Paul Pelletier and his wife, Beverly, of Poland Spring; two brothers, Gerard Laroche and his wife, Florence, of Lewiston and Lucien Laroche of Lewiston; 11 grandchildren, Ronald Dionne and his wife, Carol of Lewiston, Richard Dionne and his wife, Pauline of Leeds, Randy Dionne and his wife, Lisa of Greene, Denise Longchamps and her husband, Eric of Greene, Debbie DeBarr and her husband, Devon of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Robbie Dionne and his wife, Kelly of Litchfield, Daniel Boilard of Lewiston, Diane Daigneault and her husband, James of Lewiston, Roye Pelletier and his wife, Brenda of Kempner, Texas, Julie Lemming and her husband, James of Grand Rapids, Mich. and James Pelletier and his wife, Rebecca of Westboro, Mass.; 18 great-grandchildren, 13 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nelson, and granddaughter, Jessica Pelletier, on Oct. 28, 1995; one brother and five sisters.

Special thank-yous go to the Lamp Residential Care Facility for the wonderful care given her the last three years and also to Dept. D-3 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Beacon Hospice nurses and CNA and Clover Nursing Home.
