LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday for Roland J. Gosselin at Prince of Peace Parish at Holy Cross Church, following prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Raymond Lagace, OFM, assisted by Deacon Dennis Mailhot, officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Military Honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program. The readings were proclaimed by Diane Cavanaugh and Rachel Belanger. Prayer of the Faithful was read by Scott Gosselin and the Offertory Gifts were brought to the altar by Rita, Erin and Laurie Gosselin.
Bearers were Paul, Peter, Michael, Jeff, Norman, Marc, Tony and Luke Gosselin. The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Honor Guard was present at church and cemetery.
